Our Story
Why we're here
Our founder, Aleythia Slaughter, started Altiora Music because her own musical education was filled with many gaps in theory and music history, performance anxiety, and inability to improve without a teacher.
Her goal with Altiora Music is to create a system that ensures a well-rounded musical education so future musicians know how to apply theory, use music history, conquer anxiety, continue learning long after they've stopped taking lessons, and truly enjoy music.
